Welcome to the Hami Economic Development and Social Services
Organization (HEDSSO). (HEDSSO) is an independent, non-governmental organization established in 2023 in Afghanistan to support Afghan communities, particularly marginalized and vulnerable groups. We are committed to helping communities overcome poverty, develop community talents and capacities, and improve quality of life in society. Through initiatives focused on social welfare, sustainable development, and community empowerment, we strive to create economic opportunities, strengthen social cohesion, and contribute to long-term stability and resilience within Afghan society

Our Goals
HEDSSO’s goals are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through targeted programs and community-based initiatives, we focus on reducing poverty, strengthening livelihoods, promoting equality, and creating sustainable opportunities for long-term development in Afghanistan.
No Poverty
We aim to reduce poverty by expanding access to income-generating opportunities, supporting small businesses, strengthening vocational skills, and promoting sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable families and communities.
Zero Hunge
We work to improve food security by supporting sustainable agriculture and Irrigation, increasing community awareness on nutrition, and helping vulnerable households access resources that ensure stable and sufficient food supplies.
Quality Education
We promote access to inclusive and equitable education by supporting learning initiatives, skill development programs, literacy training, and opportunities that enhance knowledge and long-term employability.
